Christmas Blues Show Announcement

Coming to the Sunday Morning Blues podcast page within a week will be this year’s Christmas show!  Like the other podcasts of Sunday Morning Blues shows, this one will be available at wzlx.com in six parts.  Featuring everything from Johnny Moon’s Three Blazers and their 1947 version of “Merry Christmas Baby” to Gary Hoey and Johnny A on the holiday guitars, the 2009 version of the Sunday Morning Blues Christmas Show will be in the podcasts section soon!  Remember - the Blues can help you have a happy holiday!  Enjoy!

The First Sunday Morning Blues Show on WZLX

The very first Sunday Morning Blues program on WZLX was an experiment granted by radio station management to Carter Alan for a two-hour show that would introduce or reaquaint listeners to the music and artists that inspired Classic Rock.  Little did they know, the experiment would be more than successful, resulting in a weekly 3-hour show and later, WZLX HD-2 “Radio Mojo” where the Blues is king and it’s played 24/7 on the air and online!

Compared to the current Sunday Morning Blues shows, the first one was relatively conservative…
